Myth debunked: You CAN block acrylic projects! →
This is a very interesting article that discusses steam-blocking acrylic garments. This was news to me! I was stuck in the “wet blocking or bust” mindset.

Knitted Mustache Pattern!
I found this pattern digging around online today, and it’s fantastic! Link to the full instructable is in the source. There were one or two errors in the original pattern, which I think I fixed. Let me know if it needs any additional corrections. :)
Gauge: Not critical Needles: Pattern calls for US size 6, but it really only affects the size of your mustache a little. Use whatever you have...

A word on submissions!
When you make a meme on quickmeme, there’s a little quirk to saving it. If you try and download or link to the image you get immediately after making the meme (it always ends in a .gif extension), all you can see is like a pixel, and nothing else. To get it to save or link properly, you MUST click “my recent memes,” and save it from that page.

I’m knitting a skinny scarf out of some rainbow eyelash yarn that one of my best friends picked out, and it’s turning out really well! I’m treating it like an extra-bulky yarn and using my size 13’s, but knitting it in slip stitch so it’s still decently thick. I’ll post pics as soon as it’s done. :)
